Comments

Routine inspection of the ware house facility.
The ware house is working towards SQF certification.
The overall cleanliness and sanitation of the premises has improved significantly.
No rat dropping seen at the time of inspection.
The facility is moving towards replacing the 2 x 6 wooden panels used for shelving to a thin metal platform. This will
help to prevent accumulation of food stuff in the event of damaged packaging and ease of cleaning
New weather stripping will be installed underneath the loading dock doors.
Orkin PCO services provides weekly pest monitoring services.

However, mice infestation still exists in the facility as evidenced by their droppings seen behind the pallets in various areas of the premises.
Following items require addressing to combat the mice issue.

1. Ensure to perform a biweekly audit/inspection of the facility in all isles to document areas showing mice activity/dropping and
food spills or sanitation issues. Sanitation crews must be informed to perform clean up immediately.
2. Recommended using hot water and bleach solution to clean floors affected by mice droppings.
3. Recommended providing strong flash lights to all cleaning crew and sanitation auditors to inspect effectively.
4. Consider implementing a requirement for a satisfactory pest control and sanitation inspection report from all logistics companies using their trailers to transport goods to and from EV logistics.
This will help in ensuring compliance with EV's own HACCP and SQF program.
5. Recommended using strong lights ( 500 lux) to inspect third party trucks prior to loading.
6. All pallets must be moved for cleaning floors underneath
7. Consider putting steel wool in the holes in toe caps.
8. More snap traps and glue traps recommended. Consider replacing the bait to reflect the most commonly fed on food materials in the warehouse.
