Observation:
1) The floor in the repackaging area (old kimichi processing area) has cracked, chipped and damaged floor tiles. The floor is uneven, water is accumulating, and the floor is difficult to clean.
2) The light level in one of the walk-in-freezer, is low. This is a safey hazard to workers, and it makes it difficult to clean.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Repair or replace all the damaged floor tiles, and the floor must be made smooth, level, durable, sealed and cleanable.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 1C or colder; freezers -25C or colder; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- General sanitation level is good.
- Rodent activity observed by professional pest company (A Plus Pest Control Ltd.). Facility serviced every week. Reviewed reports, all in order.
- All foods stored off the floor on pallets or on racks.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water. Purchase liquid soap dispensers so the soap can be poured into them, and staff have easy access.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottles had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- Repackaging of frozen fish into smaller boxes is done. Repackaging of kimchi also is done (box holds 8 bags, and staff put 6 bags into a new box).
