Comments

- Premises and equipment maintained in sanitary condition
- Coolers were operating at 4C or colder:
- Walk-in cooler 1C
- Display cooler 2C
- Freezers were operating at -18C or colder:
- Walk-in freezer -18C
- Retail freezers - reach in -25C, chest style -19C
- Temperatures of cold holding units are monitored and recorded twice daily.
- Ice machine not in use. Flaked ice and crushed ice (foodgrade) is provided by Albion Fisheries and Seven Seas and kept in walk-in freezer.
- Shellfish tags kept on-site
- Handwashing sink was supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Bleach sanitizer solution present in labelled spray bottle. Concentration: 200ppm chlorine
- No signs of rodent activity noted at time of inspection. Minor amount of flies noted (2). If issue persists, have Pest Control Technician provide control measures for flies (ie. fly light)
- Doors to premises kept closed to prevent pest entrance.
- Staff washroom was supplied with liquid soap and paper towel.
- Manual dishwashing with 2 compartment sink. Manager is knowledgeable about proper warewashing procedures - wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry. Plugs present for both compartments of the sink. Sanitizer solution prepared for sanitizing step - 100ppm chlorine. Chlorine test strips present.

Note: Code 311 from routine inspection report 14-Sept-2022 remains pending. Refer to previous routine inspection report and consultation report (23-Nov-2022) for details. Operator to follow up with EHO to confirm planned action to be taken.
