Observation: Commerial grade wall mount or counter top paper towel dispensing unit to be installed at grill area hand sink.

NOTE: Currently a commercial grade countertop paper towel dispensing unit exists at pizza hand sink however previous staff described frustrations when dealing with unit. Ensure this unit meets staff needs or install alternative commercial grade paper towel unit that is affixed to wall or counter top.

ITEMS CORRECTED:

(1) Paper towel unit at main grill area has been installed & is fully functional
(2) Caulking at 3 compartment sink has been repaired
(3) Gaps at centre island surrounding cooler unit have been sealed
(4) Sneeze guard installed at bakery area
(5) QUAT Test strips have been obtained
(6) Pizza hot holding unit achieving temperatures of > and/or = 60 C.
ITEMS TO BE CORRECTED:
(1) Paper towel dispensing unit at pizza area has been installed too low. Paper towels hit the floor when pulled out. Install paper towel dispensing unit at higher height. loose paper towels observed on roll on counter. Staff unaware of paper towel dispensing unit. Inform all staff as to its location until such time as it can be relocated.
(2) sink plugs for three compartment sink have been ordered but are yet to arrive.
(3) Any equipment not in use (autostrain) should be removed. Remove any broken equipment.
(4) Centre Island pest proof door to be constructed. Discussions with contractors ongoing.
(5) Missing equipment to arrive friday. NOTE: IMPORTANT - ensure any hot holding units or insert coolers that front the public have sneeze guards and adequate protection from contamination . This includes existing pizza unit.
