203 - Food not cooled in an acceptable manner [s. 12(a)] Observation: 1) The hopper of the soft serve machine is not keeping the entire dessert mixture at 4C or 40F or below. Center of the mixture is frozen while surrounding is too warm. The mixture was added to the machine 5 hrs ago and should be cold. 2) Temperature of the refrigerated display case is too warm. Samosas were at 46F and should be 40F /4C or below. Corrective Action(s): Service the soft serve machine and the display cooler. Refrigeration technician has been contacted. Violation Score: 15

Comments

Store pesticides and personal items (i.e., nail clipper) away from food service display area. No food is being prepared currently. The fried chicken machine and display unit are not being used. Do not commence food preparation (other than soft serve ice cream) until approval is obtained. Please refer to the previous inspection report. Handwashing station is satisfactory. Bleach is available. Thermometers are available.
