- General sanitation is satisfactory.
- Food products (produce) is stored off of the floor.
- Liquid soap and paper towel present in produce prep area for handwashing. Liquid soap currently present in squeeze type bottle. Recommend supplying pump style dispenser for handwashing.
- Staff washroom maintained with liquid soap and paper towel.
- Walk-in cooler 4C
- Display produce cooler (where potentially hazardous foods are stored) 4C. Thermometer present in unit.
- Cut melons were stored in cooler at 4C.
- Food contact surfaces such as cutting boards and knives used for produce prep are to be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Sign is posted with manual dishwashing steps. Bleach is present for sanitizing step and plugs are present for filling sink. Ensure all staff are trained and following proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Pest control contract is in place. Multi-catch and snap trap present rodent control/monitoring purposes. Floor area is kept mostly clear to facilitate cleaning and monitoring for pest activity.
