Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection to Routine Inspection # KPRK-CBHM8E, dated January 19, 2022 was completed to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Residential Care Regulations (RCR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).

Observed Violations
CARE AND/OR SUPERVISION: 34780 - RCR s.82 - A licensee must ensure that the care and supervision of a person in care is consistent with the terms and conditions of the person in care's care plan.
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): For two Persons in Care it could not be determined if their care plans were being followed. Inconsistent information was in the PICs’ care plans (This is a repeat contravention documented in Routine Inspection # KPRK-CBHM8E, dated January 19, 2022).
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the terms and conditions of the care plan are implemented.

All concerns from Routine Inspection # KPRK-CBHM8E were reviewed during this inspection.
Management has implemented an auditing program to ensure consistent information is provided in the care plan and the terms of the care plans are followed.
The Licensing Officer would like to thank the staff for their assistance in completing this inspection.
(Please note: this inspection report was written off-site and later reviewed and forwarded to the Licensee. Therefore no signature was obtained.)
