Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act, Child Care Licensing Regulationand the applicable Director of Licensing Standards of Practice. All areas were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated, February 20, 2019 there were 8 children and 2 staff present with a total of 31 children enrolled in all classes. As part of this routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

Education and recommendations:
continuous supervision,
notification of reportable incidents,
lead in drinking water,
mandatory inspections to assess applications for temporary placement, retention and exemption, and
provision of active play.
