Observation: Improper dispensers (single-use cups, with no handles) were being used and stored within a container of grated cheese in the topping cabinet (cold hold unit).
Corrective Action(s): The cups were discarded at the time of inspection. Please purchase proper dispensers, with handles, to prevent potential contamination of food when the dispensers are being used.

Observation: Operator has renovated the facility and added/ move some equipment around, however no updated floor plan was submitted to Fraser Health for approval prior to the change.
Corrective Action(s): Submit an updated floor plan that reflects the actual layout of the facility - including all equipment and sinks.
Going forward, any changes to the facility (including the addition/ removal of equipment) must be submitted to Fraser Health for approval prior to making the change.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff and patrons' washrooms, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigeration units (except for one that the operator is aware not working and only storing pops) were holding cold potentially hazardous food at 4.0C or below.
All freezer units were at -18.0C or below.
Food stored protected and off the floor.
3 sanitizer spray bottles available. All noted with 200 PPM chlorine residual.
As per staff, they have not been using the dish washer and only using the 3-compartment sink for manual warewashing. Staff is aware of the proper procedures for using the 3-compartment sink. Measurement for sanitizer basin was written out for staff's convenience. Drain plugs are available for the 3-compartment sink. Note: Facility has 10 seats in the dining area.
Food contact items noted sanitary and in good condition.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
General sanitation and organization satisfactory.
Staff (onsite at the time of inspection) has a valid FOODSAFE level 1 equivalent certificate (expiry October 2028).
