HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Moderate (16-29) Total Score = 18
Critical Hazards: There are no critical hazards.
Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 4
209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw meat (inside covered containers and bags) was stored on higher shelving units than potential ready to eat food (e.g. prepackaged salad mixes, green onions, milk jug, and water bottles).
Corrective Action(s): Staff re-organized refrigerated storage areas to move the raw meat on the lowest shelving units and move the ready-to-eat food/beverages on higher shelving units. Ensure raw meat is stored on the lowest shelving unit and ready-to-eat food products are stored on higher shelving units to protect the ready-to-eat food from any potential contamination. Alternatively, you may store raw meat separately from ready-to-eat food by storing it in a separate designated refrigeration unit.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: A very small amount of rodent droppings were present below two shelving units near the backdoor.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the above-noted affected areas to remove the rodent droppings; Correct today. Facility has a pest control program in place via All Catch Pest Control Ltd. with most recent service date being August 23, 2022. Continue monitoring for signs of pest activity and your pest control program measures (pest control program to re-service the traps, sealing any potential entry points, regular cleaning, regular removal of garbage, and keeping doors shut between use).
Violation Score: 3

305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: A small hole was observed in the wall near a shelving unit across from the dishwasher.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure the hole is sealed to prevent a possible entry point for pests; Correct within 2 days.
Violation Score: 3

307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Garbage bags were being used to cover raw green onions and an opened bag of dry flour.

Violation Score: 3
