Observation: Small amount of mouse droppings were observed on the floor under the front counter.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the mouse droppings and disinfect the area with 1 part bleach to 9 part water solution. Discuss the issue with your pest control company.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoops were cut out of white plastic buckets. Cutting the plastic can leave uneven ends which may not be adequately cleaned and sanitized. Also, small plastic shards can result in physical contamination of food.
Corrective Action(s): Operator discarded the scoops at the time of inspection.

Routine inspection conducted.

- Temperature of coolers noted at 4C or below.
- Temperature of freezers noted at -18C or below.
- Hot holding unit recorded at 63C.
- Temperature logs were maintained but not found up to date.
- Low temp mechanical dishwasher used for dishwashing. 50ppm chlorine residual recorded.
- 3 compartment sink available.
- Handwash sink had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm bleach solution recorded in sanitizing pail.
- Food storage practices were found satisfactory.
- Small ice machine was found in sanitary condition.
- Vents scheduled for cleaning.
- Pest Control Company conducts biweekly checks.
- Operating Permit posted at the front.
- Operator has valid FOODSAFE Level 1.

Recommendations:
- Keep the temperature logs up to date.
- Store wiping clothes in sanitizing bucket when not in use.
