Report of Findings
On April 19, 2021, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns regarding Care and Supervision and Records and Reporting.

The allegations included the following details:

- A Person in Care (PIC) had been pushed by a staff member
- Inadequate care and supervision of a PIC
- Staff did not have family conferences as required
- Staff did not update family during PIC's stay in hospital

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed through communications with facility management, the complainant, and a review of documentation.

The following contraventions were determined:
- Residential Care Regulation Section RCR 77(2)(c) - Reportable Incidents

Observation: A reportable incident was not reported to Licensing.
