Observation: Rodent droppings were observed in the back area. Facility is currently serviced by pest control operator every 3 to 4 weeks.
Corrective Action(s): Continue to clean and sanitize areas affected by rodent droppings and monitor for continued pest activity and contact pest control services as needed.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Cream is stored in the walk-in cooler at 4C.
-Novelty freezer was at -18C.
-Soft serve machine was not turned on at the time of inspection.
-New bulk candy station has been added - separate scoops available for each candy container.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink in the front.
-Random selection of foods found two sandwiches past their best before dates. Ensure stock is properly rotated and are within their best before dates.
-Foods were in good condition and stored off the ground.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
