Observation: Ice machine has some slime on the plastic chute. This equipment was cleaned in November 2019.
Corrective Action(s): Empty and drain the ice machine. Clean and sanitize thoroughly and increase frequency of cleaning schedule for this equipment.

Observation: Back door has a small gap between the door.
Corrective Action(s): Install a piece of weather strip so that no light can be seen through the small gap on the bottom of the door.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Pop machine refills in the back requires has syrup drips on the floor and also hard to reach areas in the dry storage area moving racks have some debris build up. Ice cream machine and other beverage machines have spills and sticky build ups.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the pop machine refill area as well as the dry storage area. Keep up with cleaning the beverage machines so to avoid build ups.

Comments

Hand wash stations provided with liquid soap and paper towels.
Wiping cloths stored in sanitizing solution of 100 ppm chlorine.
Quats sanitizer in bottles measured at 200 ppm.
Hydrogen peroxide in bottles (for dining area) was at 3500 ppm.
- Obtain new test strips (ones in use have expired).
Dishwasher had chlorine residual of 100 ppm.
Walk-in freezer was below -18 deg C.
Walk-in cooler was at or below 4 deg C.
Line coolers were at or below 4 deg C.
Line freezers were at -15 to -17 deg C.
Hot holding for beef patties, chicken nuggets, eggs, onions, etc was at or above 60 deg C.
Temperature log was available and up to date.
All food and food related items stored off the floor.
Staff washroom and public washrooms were in sanitary condition.
Staff wearing clean uniforms and hair restraint.
No signs of pests noted at time of visit. Pest control in place.
General sanitation was satisfactory.
