Observation: Small amount of mice droppings noted under the dough mixer and on the storage shelf with empty card-board boxes near corner washroom.
One live mature cockroach noted on a mice sticky trap behind the white domestic freezer.
Corrective Action(s): All procedures about mice droppings and pests management are remain (see also the complainant report).
Remove all rodent droppings with 1 part bleach and 9 parts water.

Comments

The general sanitation is improved; however, thoroughly cleaning must be done daily.
A screen door must be closed properly (no gaps).
Empty card-board boxes must be removed from the premise (no clutter in the facility, please).
Check behind/under freezers and freezers itself for cockroaches.


Recommendations:

- Conduct visual inspections throughout the store daily.
- Notify the pest control provider about pests activity /continue the service/.
- Keep the facility in sanitary conditions.
- Clean storage racks & pallets (all food must be stored 6’’ above the floor).
- Rotate and check stock regularly for any gnaw marks, signs of damage to the packing and discarded contaminated food.
- Perform structural maintenance such as cover/repair/seal gaps, cracks in walls, holes or other entry points for pests.
- Bulk (such as flour) food must be kept in pest proof containers with proper lids.
