Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Push pins and wall hooks were kept on a shelf above food counters.
Corrective Action(s): Operator moved these out of the food preparation areas. Do not store items unrelated to food prep in the food handling areas as they can fall into food and cause a physical hazard.

Observation: 1) Low temperature dishwasher is leaking water and the sanitizer tube is not dispensing sanitizer.
2) Hand washing sink at the front has a leaky faucet.
Corrective Action(s): Repair the dishwasher and contact the inspector for a follow-up.
Repair the hand washing sink to promote handwashing.

Comments

Inspection conducted to ensure renovations did not alter the approved floor plan.
Facility will only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Facility is not operating yet. There is no food on site.

Operator intends to remove the dishwasher and move to fully single-use utensils.
Remove all re-usable cutlery from the facility and ensure your sinks have functional plugs.
Inspector will return to verify the changes.

Temperatures:
Stand up single door freezer is maintaining -33C.
Stand up single door cooler is maintaining -1 C.

The front domestic cooler is not functional and not in use. Remove extra equipment from the facility.

Sanitation:
Bleach is available.
Ventilation hood is in fair sanitary condition.
Fryers are not in use. Operator does not intend to use fryers and has removed fried items from the menu.
Hand washing sink is equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and disposable paper towels. *see violation above
2-compartment sink is functional.

Storage practices are satisfactory. Keep floor off the floor to prevent attracting pests.
No pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
