Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-BELSCE.
- Deli slicer observed to be in sanitary condition at time of inspection. It was stated that deli slicer is taken apart to be cleaned and sanitized following each use.
- Shallow food containers in use for cooling of items
- Buckets observed to be covered at time of inspection
- Fly population has been substantially reduced. Premises was serviced by a pest control operator in August. Service report available on site.
- Cook line floors, walls, and equipment observed to be in clean condition. It was stated that area was professionally cleaned since the last health inspection. Ensure routine cleaning is performed on an ongoing basis to limit accumulation of grease and/or food debris.
- Drain board noted on previous report in good condition. Mildew and damaged caulking / strip removed.
- New thermometer in place for large preparation cooler
- It was stated that a probe and infrared thermometer have been ordered. Note: Infrared thermometers are designed for measuring surface temperatures. Use a probe / stem thermometer for internal food temperature checks.
