Observation:
The dishwasher, in the Sage kitchen, had medical tape on the front door, staff unsure why the tape is there. Tape is not food grade nor cleanable.
Corrective Action(s):
Immediately remove the tape and clean the dishwasher door. Repair or replace any damaged parts of the dishwasher so that it operates as per manufacturer's specification.

Observation:
Walls in the kitchens were found be chipped, exposing drywall. Exposed drywall is not cleanable and will absorb food and water, which will attract pests.
Corrective Action(s):
Inspect walls and make repairs to all damaged areas. The walls shall be durable, smooth, level, sealed, light colored, and cleanable.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezers -18C or colder; thermometers present; and temperatures recorded daily.
- Quats sanitizer was 200ppm.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- General sanitation is good. No signs of pests.
- Domestic dishwashers had NSF/ANSI Standard 184, ensure staff are using setting the wash cycle to "Sanitize Cycle" at all times.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; dated coded; and 6" off the floor on shelves or in cupboards.
- No expired foods in use. FIFO rules followed.
- FoodSafe certified staff present.
- Valid health permit present as yearly permit fees paid.
