Dishwasher final rinse temperature was below 71°C at the plate (at 66°C). ensure the dishwasher final rinse is 71°C or hotter internally at the plate The person in charge called a technician to re-service the dishwasher.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] (The two handsinks and the 2-compartment sink lacked either liquid soap, paper towels, and /or a garbage can.
Ensure each handwashing station is equipped with a wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser, paper towels via a wall -mounted dispenser, and a garbage can. )

Follow-up Inspection

-Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, paper towels, and garbage cans. *Install wall-mounted liquid soap and paper towel dispenser; connect today.
-Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 71°C or hotter at the plate. The temperature gauge was repaired and it was in good working order.
-Drain plugs were available for the 2-compartment sink.
-walk-in cooler was at 3.9°C (4°C or colder)
-Two thermometers were available inside the walk-in cooler.
-Probe thermometer was available.
-Extra items (onion slicer, tools) were removed.
-A copy of the food safety plan and sanitation plan was provided.
-Two foodsafe certificates for the morning & evening shift volunteers were provided.
-Floor behind dishwasher was sealed.
-Mop sink outside the kitchen was present.


Health approval to operate was granted given the above noted corrective action is undertaken. This does not exempt you from obtaining approval from any other agency.
