Update and routine inspection for "Delta Meals on Wheels". As per Support Services Manager on site and phone conversation with Meals on Wheels Organizer: - Operating out of the KinVillage Residential Care kitchen - Ladner residents - deliveries on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays - South Delta/Tsawwassen residents - deliveries on Mondays to Fridays (including Stat holidays if they are on a monday to friday) - Food is prepared in the main kitchen at KinVillage. - Hand sink with hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispenser is available at the pick up location for use by those packaging meals. - Food is prepared, packaged (fully covered in disposable containers), placed in individual insulated containers and then given to volunteer drivers (minimal waiting time). - Drivers deliver to clients' residences within two hours (10:45 to 11:15am food pick up with delivery usually by 12:45pm & no later than 1pm). - Clients are told to refrigerate food if they are not eating the food right away. - Insulated containers are returned to the main kitchen and stored there. - Insulated containers are replaced as needed.
