Comments

Follow up inspection was conducted at a later time on December 5, 2017 to check the upright cooler temperature:
-Upright cooler in the church kitchen had an ambient temperature above 4 degrees C / 40 degrees F (left side was at 6.3 degrees C to 6.7 degrees C and right side was at 7.9 degrees C).
-Code 308 documented on the routine inspection report is still outstanding.
-Hot soups and sandwiches were picked up around afternoon according to the person in charge and these food items were not observed at the time of the follow up inspection.
-Kitchen will be in use next on December 26, 2017.

The following corrective action must be undertaken:
-Re-service/adjust/repair the upright cooler so that it maintains a temperature at or below 4 degrees C / 40 degrees F before your next potentially hazardous food prep./storage date (December 26, 2017).
-Do not store any potentially hazardous food (i.e. food with moisture, protein, or low acidity that can support bacterial growth) until the cooler is maintained at or below 4 degrees C effective immediately.
-Contact the district E.H.O. of Fraser Health for a follow up inspection once the cooler is maintained at or below 4 degrees C.
