Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sani-station used to store knives at the sandwich prep station did not contain adequate sanitizer concentration at time of inspection. <50ppm chlorine residual was present at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Employees cleaned and replaced the sanitizer solution at time of inspection. Chlorine residual in the solution is now at 100ppm, per Lamotte 4250-BJ chlorine test paper. Discussed sani-station procedures with operator at time of inspection. Operator indicates that the sani-station system has been in use for approximately 1 year and is widely-used at various Subway locations.

- No sanitation concerns noted at time of inspection
- No pest activity observed during inspection
- Discussed procedures sani-station knife storage procedures with operator at time of inspection. As per operator, solutions are changed at 4 hour intervals. Operator indicates that the sani-station has been widely-used at various Subway locations for approximately 1 year.
