Observation: Observed small amount of mice droppings under dish washer. A regular pest control program and monitoring is in place with traps.
Corrective Action(s): Notify pest control of signs of pest then apply preventive measures. Wash and sanitize area. Continuing monitoring for activity to prevent the presence of pests. Cleaning in this area is required today.

Follow up inspection for reports RBYS-BWLNFV conducted on December 23, 2020 and JKWK-BWDR6S conducted December 16, 2020.

Required corrections completed:

1. Cleaning and sanitation corrective actions completed. Premise is now sanitary. Fume hood has been serviced by licensed technician.
2. Replacement and repair of some equipment completed. New garbage can in use. Unfinished wood tables in kitchen has been removed.
3. Permit fee has been paid for the previous year and is now valid.

Still pending and to be completed progressively:

1. Upgrade/reseal of kitchen floor.
2. Seasonal and additional menu food safety plan update.
3. Upgrade/replacement of stove not in use.

Please notify EHO when these items are ready.

Other observations in kitchen and food service area:

High temperature dish washer final rinse at 72.6C at the plate.
Food protected from contamination.
Utensils and take out containers are sanitary.
Hot and cold water available.
Hand washing stations have liquid soap, paper towels and hot and cold running water.
200 ppm chlorine sanitizer solution in use.
Washrooms are sanitary with fully stocked hand sinks.
Front bar service area is satisfactory. One sink is decommissioned and not in use.

Holding units:

Stand up cooler at 1.56C, cheese cooler at 1.8C cheese, stand up freezer at -16.8C,
walk in and beer cooler at 4C fries.

Covid safety plan in use and available for review.
PPE is worn in the work place.
About 4 staff work at this location at one time.

Overall, facility is in compliance and is satisfactory.
Fraser Health will follow up on items requiring update and upgrade in the following months.
