Observation: Liquid soap dispenser at the back handwashing station (i.e.: in the fish packing area) is out of service. Temporarily a pump-powered liquid soap bottle is used to dispense soap at the handwashing station.
Corrective Action(s): Service the liquid soap dispenser at the back handwashing station (i.e.: in the fish packing area). Corrected by: Immediately.

Routine Inspection conducted today.
Refer to report#JCHY-C4VREJ for communicable disease compliance check.

Handwashing sinks well equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
QUATs sanitizer buckets and dispenser measured at 200ppm. QUATs test strips available.
Display coolers and walk-in cooler measured at 4C or lower. Walk-in freezer measured at -18C. Temperature logs are well maintained. Temperature logs shows cooling units adheres to temperature health requirements.
Shellfish tags are kept for 2 years.
Filters for the fresh water holding tanks are backwashed weekly. Filters for the salt water holding tanks are backwashed every 2 weeks. Mollusks holding tanks have separate circulation system from the fish holding tank.
Ice machine in sanitary condition.
No signs of pests observed. Premise has weekly pest control company (i.e.: Rentokil) to come in for pest control.

NOTE: Ensure that weekly pest control reports are available on-site for review by District EHO.

Overall, facility is well organized.
