Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection At the inspection dated February 11, 2020 there were 5 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility. The following education/recommendations were provided: Discussion was has on whether or not exceeding capacity is exemptable Active Supervision Lead in the Water The following resources were provided: Universal Precautions Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
