Introduction
An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). Facility Risk Assessment Screening for COVID 19.
The following areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance:

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation: lattice work on top of fence is in need of repair or replacement, the wood is broken and there are screws and nails accessible to the children
Corrective Action(s): please ensure the lattice work on the fence is repaired or replaced as needed
