Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach or an equivalent sanitizer is not being used when manually washing dishes. Surface sanitizer such as bleach not in use. Staff using disinfectant wipes that require a potable water rinse after.
Corrective Action(s): Follow the proper method of manual dishwashing for all utensils: wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry.
General sanitizer formula: 1 tsp of regular unscented bleach to 1 litre of water.
Ensure the sanitizer is used for surface sanitizing (wiping counters) and for storing wet cloths.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Reusable cloths used to dry hands.
Corrective Action(s): Hands must be dried with single-use towels. Reusable cloth was laundered and staff were instructed to use single use towels.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Chocolate powder and cup lids stored beside sink and underneath paper towel dispenser.
Corrective Action(s): Do not place food or food containers/lids/utensils near the handwashing sink or underneath the paper towel dispenser. This can lead to food contamination. Staff re-located these items.

Routine Inspection

-Milk cooler was turned off due to ice build-up and registered at 24 C at the time of inspection. Dairy milk had been relocated prior to the inspection. Perishable soy milk was discarded by staff as it was not relocated to a functioning cooler.
-Sliding door cooler registered at 4 C.
-Temperature checks are done.

**Do not forget to sweep and clean behind and underneath equipment.

-Follow-up inspection required.
