Code 401 noted on Routine inspection # KLAI-CWCPBK of Oct-06-2023 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Missing soap in the soap dispenser at the handwash station by the staff's computer table. Soap was available in the dispenser but nothing can be dispensed out with the motion sensor detector. Correction: Use the other two handwash stations for the time-being. Fix the soap dispenser or purchase a temporary soap dispenser to use for the time being. All handwash station must be stocked with liquid soap and paper towel at all time. Date to be corrected by: Oct 10, 2023 Code 401 noted on Follow-Up inspection # KLAI-CWGSR5 of Oct-10-2023 Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)] Observation: Soap dispenser was still not dispensing soap at the handwash station beside the staff's desk. As per staff, the soap dispenser was operating this morning. Unsure why it has stopped working. Correction: Permanently fix the soap dispenser or purchase a stand alone soap dispenser pump to have available by the handwash station beside the staff's desk. It is unacceptable to have the soap dispenser working at one point then not work when needed. Liquid soap must be available at all time by all handwash station. If issue is not corrected by tomorrow, enforcement actions will ensue. Date to be corrected by: Today

Follow-up inspection conducted for report# KLAI-CWCPBK A temporary soap dispenser was purchased and made available for the handwash station by the staff's desk. It is extremely important that ALL handwash station must be equipped with liquid soap and paper towel at all time to allow food handlers to wash their hands when required. Baseboard below the cash register area was fixed. No further follow-up required at this time.
