Routine Inspection
Hand sinks equipped with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels.
3 compartment sink set up for manual warewashing - 3rd compartment regisrtered for 200 ppm quats.
Quats in spray bottle for surface sanitizing registered at 200 ppm quats.
Front coolers at 4 C or below.
Walk-in cooler - see above violation. This cooler is used mostly for thawing frozen yogurt base and to store non-potentially hazardous foods (toppings and syrups that do not require refrigeration). Ensure all potentially hazardous foods (i.e. milk) is stored in the front coolers and that yogurt bases are used before they go above 4 C.
Walk-in freezer at -18 C.
**Clean up spills quickly. Walk-in cooler floor is sticky and walk-in freezer has some frozen spills.
**Two opened cans of Banana Yogurt Base with a best before date of January 22, 2021.Leftover canned food must be transferred to food grade containers. Product is past before date, no record of when product was opened. Staff stated this product is not currently used. Discard/follow food safety plan.
