Observation: - Mouse droppings noted on floor along wall at outside of warehouse office where cardboard was noted
- Mouse droppings noted on floor at end of aisle near walk-in cooler area.
Corrective Action(s): - Clean up all droppings and disinfect areas. [Date to be corrected by: 07-Jul-2021]
- Continue to monitor areas for any further activity. If additional droppings present, clean up immediately.
- Pest control contract in place with Orkin. Currently, service is weekly. Service frequency was increased in response to increased rodent activity within the past month. Email copy of most recent Pest Control report to undersigned. Follow all recommendations of Pest Control Technician.

Observation: - Clutter noted at bay door where product/packaging taken prior to disposal in outdoor garbage bin
- Clutter noted along hallway near entrance to walk-in freezer
- Cardboard noted along wall where warehouse office located creating runway
- Gaps noted in concrete near entrance to walk-in freezer (identified by Pest Contol Company)
Corrective Action(s): - Remove excess cardboard/materials so they do not to collect and create harbourage areas/runways
- Remove any damaged/spoiled/spilled food products immediately to prevent pest attraction
- Fill/repair gaps per recommendations received from Pest Control Technician.

Comments

- Warehouse for storage and distribution of packaged dry, refrigerated and frozen product. No food processing.
- Walk-in cooler 1C
- Walk-in freezer -20C
- Blast/chest freezers no longer in use.
- Temperature records present and up to date. Manual readings taken 3 times/day. Automatic monitoring is also in place with alram/alert system.
- Temperature of products checked upon receipt with IR thermometer and visually inspected for any damage/pest issues.
- General sanitation satisfactory, although in context with pest issues, certain areas require attention as outlined in violations above.
- Staff washrooms have warm water, liquid soap and paper towel for handwashing.
