Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Multiple containers including flour containers had thick build up of dirt & filth.
Correction: Ensure that all food contact surfaces/equipment/dishes are maintained in good sanitary condition. Wash & sanitize all the containers prior to reusing/refilling them.

Observation: Multiple hand wash stations throughout the facility were either lacking single use paper towels.
Correction: Ensure that all hand wash stations ahve adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.

Comments

Follow-up inspection conducted in response to the routine inspection (report #TGIL-C4NRXV).

Observations made:
- Flour containers were cleaned and found in good sanitary condition.
- All handwash stations had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
- No sign of rodent/pest activity noted at the time of inspection.
- Back door was closed.
- New prep table was installed in place of chest freezer and used for making chapatis.
- Chest freezer was moved to other side of the facility and used primarily for storage of frozen foods.
- Low temp mechanical dishwasher was able to dispense 50ppm of bleach solution and found satisfactory for sanitizing food contact surfaces/dishes/utensils.
- Temperature logs were maintained and found up to date.
- One staff with FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent was present at the time of inspection.
