Observation: Rodent droppings were found by the back area of the store and the back warehouse area. Facility is currently serviced by professional pest control services every 2 weeks,
Corrective Action(s): Continue to use professional pest control services to mitigate the pest infestation. Clean and sanitize areas affected by rodent droppings and monitor for pest activity. Contact your pest control operator if issues persist or worsen.

Observation: Back door has a significant gap at the bottom, potentially allowing for pest entry.
Corrective Action(s): Operator has spoken to landlord regarding replacing the door. Ensure potential entry points are eliminated to prevent pest entry into the facility.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -8C.
-Customer area coolers were at 4C.
-Ice cream freezers were at -20C and -26C.
-No processing (cutting or repackaging) of foods carried out at the facility.
-3-compartment sink available to clean and sanitize bulk food bins and scoop. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Random selection of foods were found to be within the best before dates and in good condition.
-Bulk food bin are protected from contamination. Staff monitor bulk area to ensure customers handle foods in a sanitary manner.
-Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-Foods outside the store are stored under an awning.
