Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cooked rice stored at room temperature next to rice cooker. Operator says it has been there for one hour since after cooking
Corrective Action(s): Food must be cooled from 60 deg.C to 20 deg.C in 2 hours. Cooked rice immediately stored in cooler.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer spray bottle solution noted at > 200ppm using test strip.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure bleach sanitizer solution is at 100 - 200ppm residual Concentration. Verify Concentration with test strip at all times. Concentration above 100 - 200ppm may leave residual on food contact surfaces --> causing chemical Contamination of food items

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash station back house lacked paper towel at the time of visit
Corrective Action(s): Ensure all handwash station is stocked with liquid Soap, paper towel, hot/cold running. This will facilitate adequate handwashing for food handlers in premise.

Comments

This inspection done by EHO student.

* The following temperatures were measured:-
- Stainless steel upright cooler 4.0 deg.C
- Undercounter/prep cooler 0.9 deg.C (No food in prep unit section of cooler)
- Chest freezer -22.0 deg.C
- Rice hot holding 70.0 deg.C
NOTE:- Under Counter Cooler next to handwash station and walkin cooler were turned off at the time of visit. No food item noted in each unit. Operator says business is slow --> turned of units to save money as there is not enough food stock to sore therein.

* High temperature dishwasher 73.0 deg.C
* 3 Compartment sink with plugs available with Sanitizing solution in third sink at time of visit.
* All handsinks except for the one mentioned above were stocked with liquid soap, paper towel, hot/cold running water.
* General Sanitation is Good
* Operator is foodsafe certified. Certificate expiry date Feb 18, 2022
* No Signs of pest activity noted at time of visit.
NOTE:- Ensure Fraser Health permit is posted in a Conspicuous location in premise. If cannot locate permit call 604-918-7690 for replacement.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL
- No Dine-in at the moment, all take out services says the operator.

(1) Ensure Covid-19 Safety plan document is available on-site and on website.
(2) Install Social distancing floor marking in premise
(3) Maximum occupancy limit must be posted at door entrance to guide Customers on when to walkin or wait outside.
(4) Consider installing plaxi shield glass at Customer order/pay point. This will help maintain some distance between customer and operator at the above mention location.
(5) Check Worksafe BC website for Covid-19 Safety plan template and other updates on Covid-19.
