Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Ice machine was found to have mould grow inside the machine.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure ice machine is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition to prevent potential contamination of mould.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Front handwash station cold water tap was broken. Back handwash station did not have any liquid hand soap.
Corrective Action(s): Handwash stations must be accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. While front handwash station is being repaired, back handwash station can be used for handwashing. Liquid hand soap was placed at the back handwash station at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back door was left open at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Back door must be kept closed or a screen door installed to prevent potential entry of pests. Door was closed at the time of inspection.

Observation: Front handwash station cold water tap is broken.
Corrective Action(s): Repair cold water tap and ensure staff have access to adequately supplied handwash stations.

Comments

-Under counter cooler has been removed.
-Upright single cooler was at 2C.
-Upright double door cooler was at 4C.
-Chest freezer was at -20C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Bleach and sink plugs available.
-Bleach sanitizer pails were prepared at the time of inspection and at 100ppm and 200ppm.
-Operator stated the blender container is washed and sanitized after 1 hour of use.
-Operator stated the mixing spoons are washed and sanitized after 1 hour of use
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination. Eggs stored at the lowest level.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until July 25, 2027.
