Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Potentially hazardous foods in the left pizza cooler were at 8C.
Corrective Action(s): Cold potentially hazardous foods must be maintained at or below 4C to prevent the growth of pathogens and or the formation of toxins. Potentially hazardous foods were moved into a functioning cooler at the time of inspection.

Observation: Only staff member (D Kaur DOB 05-01-1993) in the facility at the time of inspection did not have FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training. This is a reoccurring violation.
Corrective Action(s): In the absence of the operator, at least one staff member must have FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent training.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Pizza prep cooler (right side) was at 4C (top and bottom).
-Upright freezer was at -18C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in 3-compartment sink. Sink plugs available and Quats sanitizer available - manually pumped.
-Handwash station easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottle labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-Unable to assess sanitation of cutting equipment - in use at the time of inspection.
-Foods stored off the ground and covered.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary.
