Observation: Thick build up of ice noted in all compartments of white stand up freezer and temeperature of freezer recorded at -4C. Please note that build up could block the cold air circulation within the freezer resulting in inadequate temperature.
Corrective Action(s): Defrost/service the freezer immediately. Notify your district EHO once the correction has been made.

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- Prep cooler and stand up coolers recorded below 4C
- White stand up freezer at -4C
see violation above
- Chest freezers recorded at or below -18C
- Hot holding unit was recorded at 64C but no food was observed in it.
- Handwash sink available and had supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 3 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing. Drain plugs and bleach bottle onsite.
- 200ppm chlorine concentration recorded in sanitizer spray bottle.
- Food storage practices were satisfactory.
- Inserts in prep cooler were covered with lids when not in use. Good.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 (Exp Jan 2025).
- Permit posted at the front.

Recommendations:
- Please keep track of time when prepping food at room temperature and do not exceed more than 2 hours.
- Keep phone charger wires away from handwash and dishwashing sink.
- Defrost/service freezers regularly or as needed to prevent build up of ice.

Please notify your district EHO once the white freezer has been defrosted and cleaned.
