309 - Chemicals, cleansers, & similar agents stored or labeled improperly [s. 27] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): OBSERVATION (REPEAT VIOLATION) 1 degreaser spray bottle had QUAT sanitizer. CORRECTIVE ACTION Discard QUAT sanitizer and refill degreaser spray bottle with appropiate chemical. * NOTE: Re-educate staff regarding proper labelling and refilling of spray bottles. QUAT sanitizer must be stored in QUAT sanitizer spray bottle at all times to prevent contamination of food contact surfaces with non-food grade chemicalss such as degreaser. Items corrected 1. Dipper well was repaired and fully functional. 2. Ice cream scoops were being stored in the dipper well. 3. In-use wiping cloths were properly stored and soaked in QUAT sanitizer buckets. 4. Rodent droppings were cleaned, sanitized and removed from the dry storage area. NOTE: Pest control report was provided. Last inspection was done on may 04th, 2023. Ensure to follow pest control company's recommendations regarding the sanitation of the premises. NOTES 1.) Manager has FOODSAFE training; valid until March 27th, 2024 2.) Light bulbs were verified as shatter resistant and light covers were installed for the light bulbs near the office.
