Introduction

A scheduled follow-up inspection was conducted to assess contravened items during the last routine inspection on June 04, 2020. A COVID-19 risk screening assessment was completed for the facility prior to this inspection.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11200 - CCLR s.17 - A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed insect repellant located on a low shelf in the kitchen area accessible to children. Licensee removed insect repellant while Licensing was on site.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

At this inspection dated July 21, 2020 there were 5 children, 1 staff and the Licensee present. At this inspection, the above noted contravention was identified.
Licensing requested a written response from the Licensee addressing contravened item. Licensing will review the response.
