502 - In operator’s absence, no staff on duty has FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent [s. 10(2)] Observation: THIS IS A REPEAT VIOLATION FOR THE PAST 3 ROUTINE INSPECTIONS AND TWO FOLLOW UP INSPECTIONS. Two staff members were present at time of inspection but neither had FOODSAFE Level 1 certification. In addition, Correction Order posted on the wall was taken down. This order is issued by a government agency and is admissible in court. Do not repeat this violation in the future. Health inspector gave a phone call to the operator regarding the repeated violation. Operator arrived at facility in 15 minutes. Corrective Action(s): In the operator's absence, at least one staff member must have their FOODSAFE Level 1 certification during operation. Operator provided proof of registration for all staff to take FOODSAFE Level 1 through correspondence. THIS IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FINAL WARNING. A VIOLATION TICKED WILL BE ISSUED IMMEDIATELY ANY TIME AND EACH TIME IN THE FUTURE IT IS FOUND THAT NO STAFF HAVE FOODSAFE LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION. Violation Score: 1
