Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cloths noted out on counters again. Buckets of cloths tested; approximately 50 ppm chlorine detected in each. Should be 100 ppm. Both buckets had excessive numbers of cleaning cloths in them.
Mcdonald's sanitation plan for sanitizer buckets discussed; copy given to manager. Cloths are to be in the hand in active use, or stored in sanitizer solution. Do not store more than 30 half-cloths in the buckets at one time. Keep sanitizer buckets easily accessible to all workstations. Also do not use spray disinfectant (yellow solution) on any food contact surfaces, including trays. It is not a food-grade sanitizer.
Corrective Action(s):
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: There are no non-critical hazards.
