Routine inspection
Facility has been approved for limited food menu, prepacked, heating up prepackaged and precooked food only. To prepare and cook high risk foods, meat, chicken etc, from raw ingredients, a Health Permit is required.
Proposed menu and obtaining approval/permit was discussed with staff. Please contact Fraser Health Environmental Health Officer regarding high risk food.
General Comments:
- Hand washing sink supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels in dispenser.
- Facility offers food and snacks for child program once weekly.
- General sanitation is satisfactory.
- Upright combo Cooler at < or = 4C- Freezer at < or = -18C. Thermometer is available in the cooler. Temp monitoring log noted and kept updated.
- Domestic dishwasher in use for washing dishes, cups and cutting boards etc. 3-compartment sink available.
- Sanitizer wipes are available. Sanitizer in spray bottle available.
- Dry storage is well maintained. Cabinets are organized and clean.
- No obvious sign of pest activity observed at this date.
- Staff are food safe trained. |
