209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)] Observation: Multiple food items stored on the floor in the back area. Corrective Action(s): Ensure all food items are stored off the floor to avoid potential pest attraction and for ease of cleaning. This is a REPEAT VIOLATION. Violation Score: 9 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Ants observed in the back area, near the 2 compartment sink in the front, near the front entrance, and on the shelving. Corrective Action(s): Ensure there are no pests on premise. This is a REPEAT VIOLATION. Violation Score: 305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Back screen door does not reach all the way to the floor. An 2 cm opening between the screen door and the floor was observed during the time of inspection. Operator closed the back door at the time of inspection. Corrective Action(s): Back entrance door must be closed at all times or Ensure the back entrance screen door is completely sealed off to ensure conditions that may allow entrance of pests are removed. Violation Score: 3 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Excessive clutter in the back area and also in the front area behind the cashier desk. Corrective Action(s): Remove clutter and ensure premise is maintained in the sanitary condition. This is a REPEAT VIOLATION.
