PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 11020 - CCLR s.13(2) - A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation: The manager showed CCFL a water leak in the ceiling of the MACC room that began last night, which is why children have been combined in the GCC (30m - SA) room today.
Corrective Action(s): Repairs are slated to be complete by the end of the week. CCFL & the manager discussed:
- ways to make the MACC room usable by obstructing the area around the water leak
- temporary closure of the MACC room during repairs

CARE AND/OR SUPERVISION: 14020 - CCLR s.34(2)(a) - Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E.
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): There were 2 ECEs w/ 10 children in the GCC (30m - SA) room. 1 of these children was < 2 years old. The manager showed CCFL a water leak in the ceiling of the MACC room that began last night, which is why children have been combined in the GCC (30m - SA) room today.
Corrective Action(s): An ECE took the youngest child & 2 other children for a walk (MACC).1 GCC (30m - SA) child was picked up. The other ECE took 6 GCC (30m - SA) children to play in the outdoor play space.
