Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One can of OceanSpray Cranberry sauce (348ml) was found dented and stored along with other cans. Staff stated that they are aware of dented can and will be returning it to the supplier. Food stored in the dented cans can be potentially contaminated and not fit for public consumption.
Corrective Action(s): Either discard the dented can or return it to supplier. Also, have a designated storage space for food products that are damaged/need to be returned and keep them separate from other food products.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- Temperature of walk in cooler & stand up coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Walk in freezer recorded at -21C
- All handwash sink had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.
- 200ppm bleach solution recorded in sanitizer bucket.
- Lactic acid and DDBSA based sanitizer solution was prepared during inspection and the concentration was within the acceptable concentration range = 700ppm DDBSA and 1875ppm lactic acid
- High temp mechanical dishwasher reached 71.6C on dish level during rinse cycle.
- 2 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing.
- Food was stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (Exp Jan 18, 2025)
- No signs of pest activity observed.
- Mechanical traps and glue traps were observed throughout the facility.
