Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP).

No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

Summary of Inspection:
At the inspection dated June 21, 2023 there were 8 children and the manager present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided. The report was written off site after speaking to the licensee and provied in the email.

The following was discussed or education provided:
Applying for the Exemption for the staffing plan.
Continue to use the Away Play Space Plan combined with using the backyard outdoor play space.

Licensing spoke with the licensee and licensee is to provide current Away Play Space Plan and apply for Exemption for the staffing plan by the dates indicated.
