Observation: Newly installed hand sink cannot be conveniently accessed by all food handlers and currently customers must walk through part of food prepartion area to access washrooms.
Corrective Action(s): All food handlers need to have convenient access to a hand wash sink. Dishwashing sinks are not designated for hand washing. Additionally, only staff should have access to food preparation areas. Customers accessing even a part of a food preparation area may unintentionally contaminate food and/or equipment. Owner has committed to addressing these two issues by reorganizing equipment and shelving units. Prior to reorganizing any equipment or shelving, operator has agreed to submit a floor plan with the proposed layout for apprroval.
