Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection there were 9 children, the Manager and one staff present. At this inspection the COVID-19 infection control assessment checklist was completed and a copy of the document was given to the Licensee. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. The following education/recommendations were provided: -COVID-19 prevention and safety plan recommendations The following resources were provided: - Revised COVID-19 resource package for childcare facilities The inspection findings were reviewed with the Manager at the time of the inspection. The inspection report and facility risk assessment Tool was written off site and a copy of this report and the risk assessment will be emailed to the facility.
