Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)] (Watched staff member handle raw chicken with gloves wipe gloves on paper towel then handle food for customer. When handling money the gloves were removed. After the customer left the removed gloves were put back on and food handler went back to process more chicken.
-Front garbage by handsink has one paper towel in it.)

Follow-up inspection to report #ZDER-B3FVPF. All violations corrected.
- Reviewed handwashing and glove use with owner - owner has trained staff on proper protocol
- Reviewed sanitizing practices for meat grinder and band saw /slicer - equipment is cleaned and sanitized every 2 hours
- Floor in processing room has been removed down to bare surface due water damage causing bubbling. Owner is waiting on flooring company to arrange date for installation. Work expected to be completed within 2 weeks. Flooring in rest of premise is maintained in good condition.
