Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection to the Routine Inspection # JMIA-B26MX4 dated June 28, 2018 and the Follow to the routine Inspections # JMIA-B4KUB6 dated September 13, 2018 was conducted. Areas of non-compliance identified at the last two Inspections were reviewed for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During today’s inspection the Licensee, another individual and 3 children were on site, children were playing outdoors.

Licensing notes that it appears that the previously identified contraventions have been appropriately addressed as follows:
· Healthy and Safe Environment including-
o Backyard- stacked furniture has been removed, weeds have been mowed, fungus growing on the gate has been removed (gate painted
and repaired).
o Inside- Broken crib fixed, storage items removed from nap room, beds are spaced out for individual use.
· Backyard enclosed- new painted fence piece has been installed
· Active Play and Screen Use Policies have been created, implemented and provided to parents (discussed options to ensure all future families receive a copy).
· Attendance records are documented on a single daily sheet and include arrival, departure times and any absents.

Other information;
- Paper towels were available in washroom upon arrival

Discussions held today include:
- Ensuring electrical cords are safely out of children's reach
