Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated September 20, 2022 there were 13 children, two staff and the Manager present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection a facility risk assessment tool was completed and a copy will be provided. The following education/recommendations were provided: -Reviewed legislation pertaining to medication -Systems for keeping staff checklists up to date The following resources were provided: -Public Health Guidance for Communicable Disease resource The inspection findings were reviewed with the Licensee at the time of inspection and a copy of the inspection report and risk assessment were provided.
